Mackenzie McKee is doing her best to laugh through the pain.
And the awkwardness.
And, let’s face it, the humiliation of her husband having cheated on her on at least one occasion.
This isn’t any kind of secret at this point.
Late last week, the Teen Mom OG star shared some photos of her and her three kids in Orlando.
They were in and around a swimming pool, they were soaking up the sun and McKee seemed to enjoying her little slice of tropical heaven.
“Not a care in the world,” the MTV personality wrote as a caption to the post.
Except… some social media users than tried to make McKee care about something, with one person referencing her husband, Josh, and asking “Where’s yo baby daddy?”
Another follower then jumped in and remarked “prob with some other girl somewhere,” to which Mackenzie replied:
“True,” even adding a trio of laughing emojis.
Uhhhh, LOL, we guess? My husband has stepped out on me and I don’t totally trust him after all these years!
There is, of course, a history of infidelity here.
About three years ago, Josh confessed to cheating on his semi-famous wife, prompting the couple to separate.
Not long after they reconciled, Mackenzie accused Josh of having an affair with her own cousin, trashing him as a horrible person in the process.
She later recanted and revised her allegation to explain that Josh and this cousin were only having an emotional affair, prior to admitting in August 2020 that she actually slept around as well early in her marriage.
Appearing on the Domenick Nati Show via Instagram Live two years ago, McKee confessed to an extramarital relationship that lasted six months.
“When we were married, when Broncs was a baby, I did get in a relationship with a man and that was in 2017 and he caught me and he left me, and not only did he leave but he gained full custody of the kids,” McKee said on air.
“And that was one thing he did not care to go on the Internet but I know he was really angry.
“And one day he came home and I decided I was never going to do that again because I saw the hurt but he wasn’t giving me what I needed in a man, so I found it in someone else.”
Sounds like an excuse for couples therapy to us, not an affair.
McKee has no regrets, however.
Last summer, she came right out and said as much.
“He cheated once and I cheated 3 times we do we only point the fingers at him lol. I’m just saying,” she told fans after sharing an anniversary tribute to Josh, adding:
“I’m glad he did what [ge] did and I did what I did. We were young and we are so much stronger now.”
McKee then concluded, in response to backlash over the aforementioned tribute:
“Alll y’all can shove it i just wanted to post one damn photo.”
Still, many folks were taken aback last week after McKee essentially laughed off the idea of her husband sleeping around.
“She tries so hard to act like she’s in on the joke, but girl, you are the joke,” one harsh user remarked.
Another wrote: “Josh simply being with another girl is just a regular Monday for them. Nbd, guys.”
And a third added: “Can they just divorce already? It’s beyond pathetic.”
