Three dead and two seriously injured after Amtrak train crashes into a car in California 

Three people were killed and two others – including one child – were injured after an Amtrak train collided with a car in Brentwood, California.

The two who were seriously wounded were rushed to the John Muir Medical Center after the crash on Sunday afternoon, according to ABC News.

It is not yet clear how many passengers were aboard at the time.

East Contra Costa Fire Department officials told the network they’d already been called out to that train crossing twice last year because it does not have a traffic guard.
