Major League Baseball is making room for the old folks for the upcoming 2022 All-Star Game.

On Friday, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced that both Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujols have been selected to play in the upcoming midsummer showcase taking place in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium on July 19. It’s the 12th ASG for Cabrera, and the 11th for Pujols. Neither player would have made the game under the standard All-Star Game selection process, but with both legends’ careers winding down, Manfred wanted fans to be able to celebrate and honor the two legends one last time. “I am delighted that Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera have agreed to participate in the All-Star Game,” Manfred said in a statement. “Albert and Miguel are two of the most accomplished players of their generation. They have also represented the baseball traditions of the Dominican Republic and Venezuela with excellence for the last two decades. Albert and Miguel are two all-time greats whose achievements warrant this special recognition.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Despite all the prior selections to the MLB All-Star Game, neither Pujols nor Cabrera has ever won ASG MVP. So with that in mind, how many of the MVPs since baseball started handing out the award in 1962 can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
