A photographer is calling out fathers for ruining family photos with their ‘bad attitudes,’ saying she’d rather do a shoot with a screaming child than a ‘pouting’ dad.

Hannah, who is known as @hannahholpay on TikTok, voiced her frustration with having to deal with uncooperative men after user @lukesmom21 shared a video of herself crying in her car after her own disastrous family photos.

‘My son didn’t sleep well last night, so he threw a fit the entire time. And my husband ruined things because he had to go play Xbox,’ the mom wrote in the onscreen text. ‘I felt ugly the entire time. I don’t even know if she got any good pictures.’

Hannah didn’t hold back in her response, saying this is something she has to deal with regularly as a photographer.

‘I cannot express to you guys how many men show up to photo shoots throwing a fit because they have to be there,’ she said. ‘This is so frustrating because nine times out of ten, the dads and their bad attitude are what’s holding us up.’

Hannah explained that disgruntled fathers end up making the shoot longer because they are frowning in every photo, and she has to keep taking pictures until she finds a ‘halfway decent one.’

‘If you guys would stop pouting like literal children because you have to take pictures with your wife and family, my job could be done so much faster,’ she griped.

The photographer, who is also a wife and mother, noted that it drives her ‘insane’ to hear men complaining about posing for pictures when they are the reason why their wives had to book the shoot in the first place.

‘I know that this mom booked this shoot because her husband never takes photos of her and never takes photos of her and her kids,’ she explained.

‘So the mom feels guilty looking back at all these photos, realizing that she’s not in any of them, realizing that one day she’s gonna die, and there’s gonna be no good photos of her and her children for them to look back on.’

‘You are sitting here complaining ’cause you have to spend half an hour to an hour taking photos with the family that you created,’ she said. ‘Grow up!

‘I would rather a million times over do a photo shoot for kids who are screaming and crying because they didn’t sleep well the night before than I would rather do a photo shoot with a dude who’s got a s**t attitude,’ she concluded.

Hannah’s video has struck a chord with many mothers and photographers who could relate to her frustration.

‘I’ve been a photographer for 22 years now, and I have to agree — many times over the years the dads ruin a shot,’ one person wrote.

‘You put into words everything I feel about men and photo shoots,’ another agreed, while someone else shared, ‘PREACH GIRL. I’m a photographer too and I cannot staaaand this.’

A few women also chimed in to say that the men who refused to take photos with them are now their exes.

‘I have zero family pics pre-divorce because “he didn’t feel like it,”‘ one mom explained. ‘So I make a point to get them down now post-divorce because they make me happy.’
