Multiple people including a police officer were shot at a social justice-inspired musical festival in Washington DC.
The officer was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police confirmed. The conditions of the other victims remain unknown at this time.
The shooting took place Sunday evening near the intersection of 14th and U Street NW, where the Moechella music festival, a Juneteenth celebration, was underway.
