Due to a traumatic personal event, Maya Vander has reportedly decided to make a major professional move.

The Selling Sunset veteran revealed two days ago she suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks pregnant.

The tragic news comes six months after the stillbirth of her son Mason in December, and Vander announced it to Instagram Story followers alongside a picture of her sleeping three-year old, Aiden.

“I had a very crazy week. Miscarriage after 10 weeks…following my stillbirth,” the Netflix personality wrote.

“But my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessing and I am so lucky to be their mother!!

“They bring joy and happiness to my life!! Hug and love the people you care about. Don’t take things for granted!”

Vander shares son Aiden and daughter Elle, 2, with husband David Miller.

The day after Vander broke this horrible piece of news, TMZ reported that Maya is leaving the show that made her famous.

According to an insider, Vander — one of the reality show’s original cast members — has chosen to focus on raising her young kids and continuing to build her real estate empire in Miami instead of appear on Selling Sunset Season 6.

To be clear, Vander herself has not yet confirmed her departure.

Last week, however, the mother of two shared how she was coping with the stillbirth she suffered in 2021 at 38 weeks along.

“I have women (who might be going through the something similar) ask me how I’m doing after my stillbirth & pregnancy loss and how I’m able to continue pushing forward with my daily life,” Vander wrote in a June 16 post.

“Everyone handles loss in their own way, but for me I find the key is to stay busy – a healthy distraction always keeps me going.”

The reality star then offered advice for those who are in a similar situation, explaining how they should get to work, socialize, exercise and open up to others, stating:

“From my own experiences, I know the pain of loss won’t heal overnight, but today is a great day to begin or continue furthering the healing process.”

Selling Sunset has been renewed for Seasons 6 and 7, but it will seemingly go on without Vander.

In May, during the season 5 reunion of Selling Sunset, Vander told host Tan France that “time helps” her move forward.

The real estate guru said that she feels “very lucky” to be raising “two beautiful children,” and does hope to have another child.

“I have my moments, that’s part of grief, and just take this opportunity to raise voice for stillbirth and pregnancy loss,” she said on air.

“I think part of healing is getting pregnant again. I hope I will, we’ll see.”
