Lindsie Chrisley would like a do-over.

The 32-year old opened up this week on the “Coffee Convos,” the podcast she co-hosts with Kailyn Lowry, most notably touching on the sensitive subject of where she stands with her mom and dad.

Lindsie, of course, is the daughter of Todd Chrisley and the step-daughter of Julie Chrisley.

On June 7, the USA Network stars were convicted on charges of fraud and tax evasion and now face up to 30 years behind bars.

“The verdict is not what I had hoped or prayed for, and I am deeply saddened for myself, my son and my family as a whole,” Lindsie said in her initial reaction to the legal decision, remaining diplomatic.

Even this pretty simple statement took some folks by surprise, considering the VERY scandalous history that exists between Lindsie and her infamous father.

Back in 2017, Todd accused his daughter of leaking financial information to a private investigator and thereby helping to build this ongoing tax evasion case against him.

Moreover, amid Todd and wife Julie’s legal woes, Lindsie once alleged that her dad and her brother, Chase, blackmailed her with an alleged sex tape.

No, seriously.

This accusation was backed up by former Bachelorette suitor Robby Hayes, who involved in a brief relationship with Lindsie.

In September 2019, Hayes admitted that a “sex tape” that depicted him and Lindsie getting it on had “been held over my head” because the latter was married at the time it was recorded.

“We were blackmailed with it two years ago. I knew it existed,” Hayes added.

So there you have it. That’s why Lindsie told Entertainment Tonight last September that she would never make up with her parents.

Now, however?

On the aforementioned podcast, Chrisley said she previously “put my foot in my mouth by going on record and saying there’s never a possibility for any type of reconciliation” with her loved ones.

She then walked back her remarks even further.

“I will also go on record today and say that I love my parents, I love my siblings, I love my grandmother,” she said.

“And what is the future of our relationships at this point, I’m currently not going to discuss any more than that, other than the fact that I love them and I stand with them.”

Lindsey, who testified in May on behalf of her 53-year-old father amid his tax evasion case, added:

“I will continue to stand with them through the good, the bad and the ugly.”

In late May, Lindsie also said it was “reckless” to claim she’d never reconcile with her dad, but refraining from providing any real detail regarding the current state of their relationship.

She added on June 23:

“I think that it’s a double-edged sword.

“Because if I went on Instagram, on this podcast, on my other podcast and talked about this alleged reconciliation, it might come off as there is an agenda behind that versus doing the actual work behind the scenes to put the pieces back together where they need to be.

“And maybe not even putting the pieces back together but forming new pieces.”

The Georgia State University alum concluded on this topic:

“That, to me, is a much better approach because that is my real life and I’m having to live that every day and I’m not living that to appease my followers, my listeners, whatever.

“But it’s what’s right for me and my personal life, what’s right for my family, what’s right for my son and as a collective unit to be able to move forward.”
