After Liz Truss’s resignation as Prime Minister yesterday, online card retailer Funky Pigeon launched a number of themed cards. The range includes birthday cards, housewarming cards, Christmas cards – as well as leaving cards – all with the common theme of featuring the Ex-Prime Minister and yesterday’s announcement outside Number 10.

‘Airbnb short stay’ –  After the numerous visitors Downing Street has seen over the past few years.

Interestingly, earlier this week, a new YouGov poll found that Liz Truss was viewed unfavourably by 80 per cent of voters, of which 62 per cent see her very unfavourably, which made the most unpopular PM on record.

When asked who should replace her, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson was the most popular choice with a third (32 percent) opting for him while a quarter (23 percent) voted for Rishi Sunak.

An analysis by YouGov stated: “With the ongoing political chaos at Westminster dominating headlines, a new YouGov Political Research snap poll of Conservative party members finds significant buyer’s remorse among the party membership surrounding their September decision to elect Liz Truss leader.”
