Just about four weeks since getting sentenced to 151 months behind bars, Josh Duggar was transferred on Friday to a federal prison.

According to official documents obtained this afternoon by Us Weekly and other outlets, Duggar was taken to the institution which he’ll call home for the next decade-plus at 4:08 a.m. CT.

It could take up to a few days before they update his exact location.

As you can see below, the disgraced reality star has also been given an official Register Number:

After having been placed in a detention center in Fayetteville, Arkansas since his December conviction, the father of seven will now be housed in either FCI Seagoville or FCI Texarkana… both of which a few hundred miles from the Washington County Jail.

Duggar was found guilty on December 9 of downloading sexually explicit material of children under 12 years old.

He was then sentenced on May 25.

Even upon his eventual release, Duggar will be under a supervised released for 20 years — he won’t be permitted to use the Internet outside of work and won’t be permitted near any children by himself.

Prior to his incarceration, Duggar filed an appeal with an Arkansas court to challenge his sentence.

“Duggar respectfully provides notice of his intent to evaluate and pursue any and all meritorious arguments in his appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit,” reads the legal document, which was submitted on June 3.

Based on the wording of this appeal, Duggar is objecting to one count of receiving child pornography.

He has long tried to argue that either someone else downloaded the graphic videos to his workplace computer in 2019… and/or that he never actually looked at them.

Josh Duggar is the Worst

As for where Duggar is now situated?

FCI Seagoville is a low-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Seagoville, Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

It made national headlines in August 2020 after 75% of its inmates tested positive for COVID-19 and three died as a result.

FCI Texarkana is a also low-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Texas.

It once held an inmate named Keith Judd, who filed to run for President in 2012 and actually won 41% of the primary vote in West Virginia as a Democrat.

Josh Duggar is a Bad Dad

Josh, who may have received a visit this week from his wife, will need to submit himself (plus his personal information) to the U.S. probation office after his incarceration.

He will also be required to participate in a sexual offender treatment program and will not allowed to possess or ingest marijuana.

Moreover, he’ll also “required to submit to periodic polygraph testing at the discretion of the probation office as a means to ensure that he is in compliance with the requirements of his supervision or treatment program.”

That’s all a long time from now, however.

Josh Duggar Close Up

Duggar won’t be a free man, even with good behavior, for a minimum of 10.5 years.

Said cousin Amy on Instagram right after the sentence was handed down:

“I knew him getting the maximum sentence wasn’t going to be the easiest to prove since it’s his first offense in the judge’s eyes — which I hate — but at the same time, he cannot have his computer, he cannot hurt, exploit any more children and when he sees his kids, he has to be supervised.

“And honestly, where he’s going, I feel like the prisoners are just gonna take care of him.”
