Gisele Bündchen has hired Florida’s top divorce lawyer as her split from Tom Brady turned ‘very nasty.’
The supermodel has started to gear up for the long fight by hiring Tom Sasser, who has worked Tiger Woods and Jeff Gordon.
Bündchen was seen earlier this month in Miami leaving an attorney’s office without her ring
Sources told Page Six the addition of divorce lawyers has caused the stressful separation to turn ‘very nasty between Tom and Gisele.’
‘They are ready to fight,’ the source said. ‘It will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world.’
The high-profiled couple are said to be on neutral grounds regarding their two shared kids Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, nine – opting for joint custody. Brady also has another son Jack, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Bündchen has been jet-setting recently while Brady hangs out in Miami during the football season. They’ve been living separately since reportedly having an huge fight over Brady’s announcement he wasn’t going to retire, with many speculating that’s what prompted their divorce.
A source confirmed to DailyMail.com in late-September that their physical separation was not impacted by Brady’s move to rejoin his beloved sport.
Brady announced that he was retiring in February, only to turn around a few weeks later and say he’s not.
‘There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids,’ the source told Page Six. ‘They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind.’
The mother-of-two briefly mentioned her feelings on the topic in an interview with Elle magazine in September, revealing: ‘I feel very fulfilled, as a mother and as a wife. And now it’s going to be my turn.’
Giselle added: ‘I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.
‘Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy.
The pair are reportedly not fighting over their shared children Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, nine. They have reportedly decided on joint custody
The two’s divorce proceedings reportedly began after Brady announced he was not going to retire from football
‘At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that. I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.’
Brady announced earlier this week that he had no plans for retirement in the near future. He said: ”I love the sport, and I love the teammates, and I want to go do a great job for this team like I always have. No retirement in my future.’
His wife of 13 years has not attended any Bucs games this season.
‘I don’t think there will be any coming back now,’ the source told Page Six. ‘They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.’
DailyMail.com has attempted to contact Giselle’s team for comment.
Sources said earlier this month that Brady was ‘very hurt’ by the divorce because he was used to winning.
His ‘very charmed life’ has reportedly made the divorce proceedings ‘awful for him.’
‘Things always seem to go his way. He works hard, he’s a good guy, he hasn’t had a lot of things go wrong in his life,’ the source told People.
‘This is awful for him. You can tell that this really, really hurts.’
In addition, the power-couple’s Miami mansion has been halted due to Hurricane Ian, the New York Post revealed.
The two had aimed to build a forever home in Miami’s Indian Creek Country Club community for themselves and their children.
The total cost of the house is set to be near $30million, as they paid $17million for the land and an additional $10.12million in construction costs for the custom mansion, according to the Post.
The area is dubbed ‘Billionaire’s Bunker’ because of the sheer number of celebrities and high rollers in the vicinity, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
Brady and Bündchen are rumored to be assessing how they would divide their assets, including their property portfolio.

Pictures show the property still under construction, though it was recently halted due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian
But the mansion seems to be tailor-made for the two, and includes an organic garden, a pickleball court, yoga terrace, a prep kitchen, main kitchen and outdoor kitchen.
The 1.8-acre property encompasses three buildings – a main house, a security post and a gym. It also ironically includes his-and-hers bathroom suites, which may never get to be used by both.
Floor plans of the home obtained by the Post shows that it spans an enormous 17,000 square feet, and includes five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, along with an elevator, a movie theatre and a guest suite.
