Anna Duggar continues to leave fans guessing.
And she also continues to leave them very, very confused.
The mother of seven has said next to nothing since her husband, Josh, got arrested in child sex charges in April 2021.
She maintained her silence after he was convicted in December and then after he was sentenced in May 2022, as well. For the most part, that is.
At one point late last year, Anna wrote on Instagram that there was more to the story of Josh’s arrest, strongly implying she believed in his innocence.
Then, just last week, Anna celebrated her own birthday in VERY bizarre fashion.
First, she happily reminisced over her engagement to a convicted pedophile, writing how it had been “fourteen years since I said YES.
Anna then hinted that she was on her way to visit Josh in prison, adding that she was “Road-tripping to visit my bestie.”
That’s basically been it for over a year now from Anna, which means various tabloids have been left to speculate over how she’s doing.
Especially when it comes to motherhood.
“The kids will be fine for a little while, but then they’ll start asking a million questions,” a source told In Touch Weekly a few days ago, adding of the 34-year old:
“It’s a lot to deal with, but she’s strong and determined.”
There’s been an ongoing Internet debate, meanwhile, over whether Anna is getting along with the Duggars — or whether she’s cut them out of her life entirely.
Based on previous reports, Anna is pissed at Josh’s siblings in particular due to their lack of support for her husband in the wake of his conviction.
(Seriously, did you see what Jeremy Vuolo recently said about Josh?!?!?!?!?!?)
In Touch, however, says this simply isn’t the case.
“Anna’s family, the Kellers, have rallied around her, but she’s still close to the Duggars too,” this same insider said.
“She hasn’t turned her back on her in-laws.”
Josh was sentenced on May 25 to 151 months in federal prison.
Even with good behavior, he must serve a minimum of 10.5 years behind bars after a jury found him guilty of downloading sexually explicit photos and videos of minors from his workplace computer in 2019.
In addition to his prison sentence, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s oldest son will have to serve 20 years of probation when he’s released.
He won’t be allowed unsupervised visitation with his kids … and he won’t be given access to a computer … and he won’t be able to view adult pornography under any circumstance.
Hard to feel bad for the guy, though, isn’t it?
No one seems to know, overall, whether Anna is a victim this whole ordeal — or if she’s been an enabler of Josh.
“Her phone is either being monitored, it’s been taken away, or it’s off,” cousin Amy Duggar a couple weeks ago of Amy.
“I have tried everything. … She has my number unless it’s deleted, I don’t know, or blocked. That could be it too.
“Haven’t thought about that. But anyway, I’ve tried.
“So, now I’m just like, she doesn’t have to suffer alone, and I feel like this whole thing is just more than anyone could possibly take.”
