Angelina Pivarnick doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to telling the truth.
Still, when she swore to Deena Nicole Cortese that she never hooked up with alleged side-piece Luis “Potro” Caballero, many Jersey Shore viewers were quick to believe her.
After all, what reason did Angelina have to lie at that point?
Her marriage to Chris Larangeira was essentially over, and the whole world knew that she had been jetting all over the world to hang out with Luis.
Still, when pressed by Deena on last night’s episode of Jersey Shore, Angelina insisted that she and Luis “didn’t do anything” during their recent trip to Cancun.
But the ruse fell apart when Angeliners received a call from Luis while still in Deena’s presence.
“Did you and Angelina ever have sex?” Cortese asked after commandeering the phone.
“F–k my life!” Pivarnick cursed.
“I have a bad connection now,” Luis said in an attempt to lighten the mood.
“It’s not called sex. It’s making love,” he explained.
“I freaking knew it,” Deena said in a confessional segment.
“She had sex with Luis and she lied to me about it.”
“Don’t f–king judge me. What do you want me to do it? I’m not marrying him. I’m just having fun right now,” Pivarnick said in her own confessional.
Angelina later explained to Mike Sorrentino that Chris had been treating her poorly prior to her affair with Luis.
“He actually told me he hopes I die in a plane crash knowing I was going to go to Spain. Like WTF?” she told Mike.
“My husband is going off the deep end right now. He’ll go quiet for four days and I’ll have a drama-free life. And all of a sudden, bam!”
Well, at least that was the beginning of a long, happy romance between Angelina and Luis, right?
Yeah, not so much.
By the end of the episode, the two of them were at each other’s throats, and Angelina had essentially called the whole thing off.
“We moved very fast, maybe a little too fast,” she said in her confessional.
“Luis at one point made me feel very good about myself. He made me feel more liked in three days than my husband made me feel in three years,” Pivarnick continued.
“But trying to talk to this kid is like talking to a f–king wall. Luis is very dramatic. This is not what I wanted.”
Once the most reviled figure on Jersey Shore, Angelina has earned a lot of fans in recent years.
But it seems that she lost quite a few of them over this Luis business.
“The fact that Angelina lied to Deena’s face is wild,” one fan tweeted during the episode.
“She lied to you about not hooking up with Luis,” another added.
“I honestly can’t believe Angelina is real,” a third chimed in.
Something tells us that’s a common sentiment among the people who know Ms. Pivarnick best!
