A well-known sister has become a mother.

For the second time.

On Friday, The 1000-Lb. Sisters star cast member told People Magazine that she has welcomed her second child, Glenn Allen Halterman, with husband Michael.

The reality star’s baby boy arrived on July 5 via c-section… weighing 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 17.5 inches at birth.

“The wait is finally over … Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman,” Amy told this outlet.

“The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete.”

Along with Glenn, Amy is also mom to son Gage Deon Halterman, whom she and Michael welcomed in November 2020.

The veteran TLC personality qualified for gastric bypass surgery a couple years ago, which enabled her to safely get pregnant.

On the professional side, meanwhile, People also wrote the following on Friday:

Fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters will get an inside look at Amy’s pregnancy and motherhood journey as it’s documented on the upcoming fourth season of the TLC show.

This appears to be confirmation that 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4 is on the way — and that Amy will play a central role!

Hooray!

Previously, Amy had told The Sun that she wasn’t sure she’d return to the franchise.

“I’ve been on the show for three years,” Slaton said a few months ago, referencing her 15-month old son and adding:

“At first, it was easy but now that I have Gage it’s like, he doesn’t want me out of his sight.

“I feel like I’m being a bad mom when I’m at work. He’s always at granny’s when we’re filming and stuff. I feel like I’m losing valuable time.”

Added Slaton at the time:

“I don’t really want to do another season because I’m pregnant, it’s just a lot. If they cut down my hours I’ll be probably fine.

“Last season I was working every day for weeks, plus renovating a house, plus Gage, plus Tammy, plus my mom.

“It was just a lot last year and I can’t do it.”

It certainly sounds now as if things have been worked out and Amy will be back.

Her famous sibling, Tammy, is also hoping to undergo gastric bypass in the near future.

She’s currently in rehab, working to lose weight, and has made it clear in the past that she’s very much open to a fourth season of the show.

On a Season 3 episode, Amy talked about holding her first son Gage — which she wasn’t immediately able to do following his arrival via cesarean section.

She went on to describe the moment as “surreal” and said:

“Holding Gage for the first time felt surreal.

“My heart just melted. He was so perfect. His little fingers, his toes.”
