Three abortion activists stormed Joel Osteen’s Texas mega church on Sunday, stripping down to their underwear in protest over Roe v Wade.

The three women from the group Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights sat throughout Osteen’s service at the Lakewood Church in Houston then rose to their feet once he had finished and began screaming: ‘My body, my f*****g choice!’  and ‘Overturn Roe, hell no!’

They wore pink underwear with green handprints on their breasts, and they had appeared to smear fake blood in between their legs.

The three women were escorted out of the service by security shortly after staging the protest.

The congregation cheered as they were led out of their seats.

Osteen carried on throughout, barely seeming to take notice.

Once outside, the women continued with their protest.

‘We’re here today to break the silence and stand up because Christians are not afraid to bother us at healthcare clinics, at doctor’s offices, why the f*** wouldn’t we bother you in your own home where the laws are coming from?’ said one of the women.

The church in Houston attracts thousands of worshipers every weekend and collects millions of dollars in donations. Tickets to his services are around $30.

The televangelist has come under fire in recent years.

In 2017, he was slammed for not immediately opening the stadium-like church to victims of Hurricane Harvey.

He ended up opening the church’s doors after widespread criticism.

The live stream of Sunday’s service is no longer available online and the church has not commented on the stunt.
