The 2022 WNBA All-Star Game is 18 days away. On Wednesday, the 10 starters for the contest were announced, and the group will feature plenty of familiar faces.

Bird — who announced recently that the 2022 campaign will be her last — is set to make her 13th All-Star appearance. Stewart (Bird’s teammate with the Seattle Storm since 2016) will be making her fourth All-Star showing and is currently leading the league in points per game (21.8) and is tied for the league-lead in steals per contest (2.1).

Wilson — the 2020 league MVP — is now a four-time All-Star and has made the showcase in every one of her professional seasons (the 2020 All-Star was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Wilson is ranked second this season in both rebounds (9.6) and blocks per game (2.4).

Fowles, who, like Bird will be retiring at the end of the season, will be appearing in her eighth All-Star Game and currently leads the WNBA in blocks per tilt at 10.3. Parker and Ogwumike will be making their seventh career showings in the select event, while Jones is set for her fourth appearance.

Plum, Young and Ionescu will be making their All-Star Game debuts next month in Chicago.
