Tyler Sanders, 9-1-1: Lone Star Actor, Dead at 18

Very sad news out of Hollywood on Friday:

Tyler Sanders, an actor who appeared on such hits shows as 9-1-1: Long Star and Fear the Walking Dead, died at his home in Los Angeles yesterday.

He was 18 years old.

“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future.

“He comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time, Sanders’ rep, Pedro Tapia, told Us Weekly and other outlets about his client’s shocking passing.

“The cause of death is unknown and currently being investigated.”

An autopsy is expected to be performed in the coming day.

Sanders was a native of Texas.

He began acting when he was just 10 years old, earning roles on JLW Academy, The Rookie and Escaping My Stalker.

Following his time on Just Add Magic: Mystery City, Sanders garnered an Emmy Awardd nomination for the role of Leo on this program.

According to his IMDB biography, Sanders also worked with Leah Remini on a pilot in 2017 and had two projects yet to be released at the time of his passing.

He had over 12,000 followers on Instagram and shared a post this year of himself alongside Rob Lowe and other 9-1-1: Lone Star cast members, following his stint as a character named Brian:

Based on to his Instagram feed, Tyler Sanders was friends with former The Secret Life of the American Teenager star Jordan Fisher.

“Life is good. Also Jordan Fisher is a lovely person,” wrote Sanders back on May 10, while Fisher included a heart-eye emoji on a recent photo of Sanders.

Just days before his sudden death, meanwhile, the actor posted pictures in Vail, Colorado, with the caption:

“Styling.”

Elsewhere, Sanders used his social platform to reflect on his personal accomplishments.

“These photos were taken one year apart,” he wrote alongside a before and after Instagram snapshoot in November 2021.

“One year ago today I decided to start taking fitness seriously. Even on days that I didn’t want to, I stuck with it. I trained hard and I ate right.

“There is a 25lbs difference in those photos.”

We send our condolences to the friends, family members and loved ones of Tyler Sanders.

He is gone too soon.
