Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian: Are They Having a Boy or a Girl?

The news still must sink in for plenty of observers around the celebrity gossip universe.

Yes, Khloe Kardashian really is expecting another baby with ex-boyfriend and perpetual cheater, Tristan Thompson.

The catch, of course, is that Khloe is combining he eggs with Tristan’s sperm and using a surrogate to carry this child to term.

No harsh judgment or anything… but wow, right? Can’t say we saw that bombshell coming.

Thompson and Kardashian share a four-year old daughter named True, with the former having slept around behind the latter’s back toward the very end of her pregnancy at the time.

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” a rep for Khloe said on Wednesday.

“Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.

“We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

Neither Khloe nor Tristan has spoken out on the surrogacy, but we’ve learned a lot about this stunning development over the past several hours.

The latest tidbit?

According to E! News, an outlet closely connected to Khloe and her loved ones, has confirmed that she and Tristan will soon be welcoming a boy.

To be clear on a couple of other key fronts:

Khloe and Tristan are not back together.

Heck, they’ve barely even talked since Thompson confessed that he had fathered a baby last year with a woman named Maralee Nichols, having slept with her after getting back together with Kardashian in early 2021.

“The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else,” an insider tells E!.

Khloe recently opened up on an episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians about how “embarrassing” it was to learn that Thompson has knocked this woman up.

“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Thompson stated after a DNA test proved he was, indeed, going to be a father once again.

“Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”

By all accounts, Thompson has not actually been active in this son’s life over the past few months.

He has, however, been welcomed by Khloe into True’s life on what appears to be a frequent basis.

Will this remain the case with Kardashian’s second kid, though?

After ALL Tristan has done to her?

“[Tristan] went through finding a surrogate and all that while he was cheating on [Khloe] and that’s unforgivable to her,” a source now tells Us Weekly.

“There’s no place in her mind that wants to take Tristan back, she is really done with him romantically this time…

“Khloe and Tristan are coparenting, but not speaking [outside] of coparenting, that is the only communication they have anymore.

“Tristan has realized that he’s a parental figure to True and the new baby [and] that’s all he is to Khloe right now.”

Khloe, meanwhile, has reportedly moved on and is dating a private equity investor.

Said Tristan to his scorned lover in December, after the aforementioned DNA test came back positive:

Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.

My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think.

Again, I am so incredibly sorry.
