Tori Roloff Claps Back at Concern Trolls: WE Will Monitor Our Kids’ Health! Not You!

Estimated read time 3 min read

One of the qualities that makes Tori Roloff a Little People, Big World fan favorite is her transparency.

She shares sweet family moments even when they’re not filming. She also shares the hard stuff.

But even Tori’s generous spirit has its limits.

One thing that she admits is “frustrating” is when parents question her kids’ health and development. C’mon.

This took, Tori Roloff held an Instagram Q&A, answering follower questions in her Stories.

One fan wrote: “I’m worried about Lilah and her language skills.”

While Lilah does have a speech delay, hearing a random person express this concern rubbed Tori the wrong way.

“Don’t be,” she instructed the follower, with the words “got it under control” written on the video.

Tori had still more to say in a couple of follow-up videos, which we have combined for your convenience.

Simply put: she and Zach and their doctors are looking after all three kids. They don’t need fan opinions on this.

“I just have to say, when it comes to our kids’ medical history,” Tori expressed.

She noted that “that’s the one thing that’s so frustrating with sharing our lives on social media.”

Tori continued: “is people, like, don’t think we have doctors and people we can trust in our lives with our kids’ health.”

“We’ve got it under control,” Tori added.

She then instructed her fans and followers: “Trust me.”

Clearly, Tori has heard similar sentiments too many times, and would like a break.

Coming from Tori, that friendly message feels a little “heated.”

Yes, Lilah does have a speech delay.

But … what makes fans feel so entitled to bother her about it?

Tori Roloff, Zach Roloff, Jackson Roloff, and Lilah Roloff on Easter 2022
Little People, Big World stars Tori Roloff, Zach Roloff, Jackson Roloff, and Lilah Roloff posed on Easter Sunday, 2022, with Tori making it clear that she is still pregnant.

We have all looked at child development of celebrity children and wondered at it.

If everyone in your family was talking before they were even close to a year old, non-verbal 2-year-olds are surprising.

But we should remember that different children develop at different rates, and Lilah’s parents are paying attention.

The Roloff Children
It’s Jackson! And Lilah! And Josiah! Say hello to all three of Tori and Zach Roloff’s kids.

“Lilah is definitely delayed in speech,” Tori shared in a follow-up.

“However, she’s making progress,” she noted, “which is what her pediatrician wants to see.”

Tori then detailed: “So, for now, we’re just encouraging her to talk more.”

“And,” Tori admitted, they are “trying to keep her brother from answering for her.”

It is only natural for an older sibling to want to help — but some things, Lilah must learn to do on her own.

That means verbal communication. Tori and Zach have this well in hand.

Tori and Zach are also parents to 10-week-old Josiah, making them a family of five.

Naturally, some followers used the Q&A to ask if there will be any more Roloff babies.

Tori and Jackson both gave a solid answer: three kids is enough.
