For Savannah Chrisley, the silence has been broken.

And the battle has only just begun.

The Chrisley Knows Best cast member asked her Instagram followers on Thursday, June 16, to “please be kind,” prior to sharing her thoughts on her mom and dad’s recent legal troubles.

For those unaware, Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty last week of tax evasion.

The USA Network stars — who have anchored the reality show Chrisley Knows Best since 2014 — face up to 30 years in jail.

They’ve been accused of forging documents and hiding assets, with Todd and Julie specifically being found guilty on all five counts of bank fraud, along with:

One count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and one count of tax fraud.

Julie was also charged with one count of wire fraud and one count of obstruction of justice after being accused of creating a fake credit report and false bank statements to rent a home.

“This life is so cruel and we’re all doing the best we can,” Savannah said to open her first remarks on the subject.

“I will continue to stand by my family and fight for justice. Justice for ourselves and for others that the system has failed.”

Savannah has starred opposite her parents for all nine seasons of the family’s atrocious reality show.

She was careful to note on Thursday that “there is only so much I can comment on legally at this moment” when it comes to the conviction and likely appeal.

She did go on to reference her faith, however.

“Recently, I’ve felt let down by God, that my relentless prayers have been unheard.

“But I do believe that He will use every hardship and adversity we go through to strengthen us and prepare us for an even greater purpose.

“So I will continue believing in our Lord and Savior … I pray for strength, hope, and love.”

The Growing Up Chrisley star eventually vowed, “this fight isn’t over,” and then thanked all of the people who “continue to stand by our sides.”

She concluded:

“Now let’s get back to work.

“Now is my time to break the glass ceiling — no matter what comes my way I WILL succeed. – xoxoxo – Sassy #kindness #hope.”

Todd Chrisley seems like a pretty terrible person. That’s all we have to say in this caption.

Previously, Lindsie Chrisley, who is VERY much estranged from her dad, also commented on the outcome of the legal case.

“The verdict is not what I had hoped or prayed for, and I am deeply saddened for myself, my son and my family as a whole,” she said.

Savannah, meanwhile, wrapped up her profound thoughts by sharing a Zanna Keithley quote about perseverance.

Savannah Chrisley, BIG Glasses
Savannah Chrisley likes some huge, reflective glasses — even in her selfies.

It read in part:

Positive thinking isn’t seeing the world through rose colored glasses.

It doesn’t mean that you ignore any heaviness you’re feeling or that you cover up your pain with false optimism. Positive thinking is steady strength.

It’s the ability to keep an open mind when things don’t happen the way you had hoped.
