Already, Sami Sheen had accumulated dozens of likes, which usually represent only a fraction of followers.
That was days ago. Based upon her OnlyFans likes so far, she now has hundreds of subscribers.
We don’t know what Sami has posted in her first (and thus far, only) two posts.
Subscribers are paying up $19.99 per month, or a discounted $200 per year (give or take some change).
One assumes that she is posting tasteful content that is more revealing than anything that she has, or can, put on Instagram.
No matter how beautiful or successful you are, someone always wants to ruin your day.
(In fact, the better that you’re doing in life, the more want to rain all over your parade)
One troll message Sami Sheen on Instagram, with a scathing: “Do you really think you have the body for [OnlyFans] lol.”
“Yes,” Sami replied, “because there’s no ‘body’ you need to have in order to do OF.”
“The only thing that matters,” she continued, “is making sure that you’re comfortable with what you’re posting.”
Sami also advised “remembering that all bodies are beautiful.”
Sami could have taken the easy route.
She is young, slender, blonde, and conventionally attractive in every sense.
It would have been so simple to reply with a thirst trap that speaks for itself.
Instead, Sami took the time to respond in such a thoughtful and well-reasoned way.
Why? Because it’s not just about her.
Body-shaming is, by its nature, never just about one person.
One of the keys to OnlyFans’ success has actually been showing a variety of human bodies.
In the traditional porn industry, performers of various races, genders, disabilities, and body types have been relegated to “genres.”
Instead of being placed in fetish categories, OnlyFans performers can simply be themselves.
Sami did not have to take a body-positive approach to clap back, but she did anyway.
It was the right thing to do and the right thing to say.
Body positivity is for everyone, and so is obliterating trolls.
As we noted, both Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards spoke about their adult daughter’s new gig.
Sami Sheen is an adult woman and can make her own choices.
Denise seems to have accepted that, despite her misgivings. Charlie, on the other hand, has clearly struggled. Oh well.
