Meadow Walker Shares Abortion Story After Roe v Wade Overturned: I’m Healthy

For many years, the world only knew Meadow Walker as the young daughter of the late Paul Walker.

Now, it has been years since Meadow settled the wrongful death lawsuit, became an adult, and launched her modeling career.

On Friday, June 24, the current SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade, gutting human rights in America.

For years, Meadow has used her platform for good causes. She is doing that again, this time, sharing her own abortion story.

Meadow Walker took to Instagram over the weekend to respond to this massive rollback of human rights.

“Today marks a huge setback in history,” she began.

“A profound injustice to women across the United States,” Meadow accurately described the ruling.

“There are countless women who have struggled with making the decision to have an abortion,” Meadow noted.

“I too battled with the choice,” she then revealed.

“But in 2020,” Meadow continued, “when the world was collapsing during the pandemic, I sought an abortion.”

She acknowledged that “it is a very private and personal experience.”

Meadow noted that this is “the way it should be.”

A patient and healthcare provider are the only people who should be involved.

“I was lucky enough to have a great doctor,” Meadow continued.

It was her doctor “who supported me through the debilitating process.”

“With their help,” Meadow explained, “I am able to be the happy and healthy person I am today.”

“Now,” she wrote, “knowing even more women won’t have the opportunity to seek safe termination.”

Meadow continued: “And choose their bodies first is absolutely heartbreaking.”

She added: “In a world that constantly marginalized females, this feels like the biggest assault of them all.”

Meadow then pointed out the obvious, painful truth.

“Banning abortion doesn’t prevent abortions,” she wrote.

Meadow concluded: “It prevents safe abortions.”

Meadow expressed a great deal of wisdom in that post.

After all, she is only 23 years old.

The busy model has led an eventful life, however, even getting married last year despite her youth.

Meadow and her husband, British-American actor Louis Thornton-Allan, have kept their lives reasonably private.

Growing up with a famous father and his famous friends — including godfather Vin Diesel — clearly gave her a healthy sense of balance.

Now, she is an adult with a good head on her shoulders, who knows when to stay private and when to share something personal.

When Meadow opened up about her abortion, she knew that of course some people would despise her.

Some will accuse her of being a “murderer.” Others simply find her personal story inconvenient for their political agenda.

Stories of zero-regret abortions by happy, successful people do not fit the narrative of those who want state-mandated childbirth.

Meadow Walker, Do Good Bag
Meadow Walker, 18-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker, shows a bag that reads “do good” and speaks of her donations to a shelter.

Meadow Walker is not realistically at risk under our new national nightmare.

She is wealthy enough to live wherever she likes and travel wherever she likes for any healthcare that she requires.

Meadow shared this story now because she knows that most people are not so fortunate.
