For months now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Leah Messer is pregnant with her fourth child.
There’s no real evidence of this, and it seems to be a case in which online sleuths reached a conclusion and then worked backward in search of evidence:
Basically, a bunch of internet randos decided that Leah isn’t capable of dating a guy for a year without getting knocked up, so now they’re dissecting her every social media post, hoping to find evidence that might support their theory.
These are mostly the same people who were convinced a few weeks ago that Leah and Jaylan Mobley had broken up.
And even though that theory turned out to be bogus, the amateur sleuths on Leah’s Instagram page didn’t learn any lessons about not jumping to conclusions.
That’s how we got to the point we’re at now, where folks are really getting desperate and presenting increasingly flimsy evidence to support their argument.
Case in point, the photo below, which appeared in Jaylan’s Instagram Stories over the weekend.
It seems that Leah and Jaylan took a joint family vacation of some kind.
Jaylan didn’t offer any specifics, but he did tag his location as Florida, and based on the fact that Leah’s twin daughters are wearing Hogwarts costumes, it’s probably safe to assume that the group visited Universal Studios’ Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Anyway, as you can see, Leah is wearing a fanny pack across her stomach, and apparently, that’s enough to convince some people that she’s hiding a baby bump.
As UK tabloid The Sun points out, fans on Instagram had a field day with the placement of Leah’s pack, with some going so far as to cite it as evidence that she’s expecting.
The rumors about the state of Leah’s uterus began when she and Jaylan posted a video celebrating thirtieth birthday back in April.
Leah said that she felt as though her thirtieth year would be her best yet.
There’s nothing strange about that, of course, but much has been made of the fact that she repeated the words “I feel it” as she rested a hand on her stomach.
“The way she touched her stomach when he said this is going to be the best year yet,” one commenter wrote.
“The ‘I feel it’ with her hand on her stomach…” another added.
“Leah was pretending to sip from her drink during the chat,” a third chimed in.
Of course, after that video was posted, Leah shared a photo in which she could be seen drinking a hard seltzer in a bikini, so we think it’s safe to say she’s not pregnant.
Or at least she wasn’t at the time.
At this point, we think Leah should keep mum on the issue and let her fans continue guessing.
At this point, it’s probably the closest thing that some of these people have to a hobby.
And it would be sort of cruel for Leah to just take that away from them!
