This is the best way we can summarize Khloe Kardashian’s reaction to a social media rumor that made the rounds late last week.
The long-time reality star apparently took note of chatter that linked her to yet another NBA player — and then felt a need to jump on Instagram and set the romantic record straight.
“I heard she was seeing another NBA player,” wrote an Instagram user over the weekend, prompting the owner of “kardashiansocial” to reply as follows:
Who knows if this is true and I know she doesn’t need anyone but I CANNOT WAIT for her to have someone like Kravis and Kete one day because I know she will!
Kravis, of course, is a reference to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, who are newly married.
Kete is a reference to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, who seem extremely happy together.
Khloe, for her part, was last linked to Tristan Thompson, a relationship that ended in disaster after he cheated on her multiple times.
The failed romance has been back in the news of late because Khloe has been forced to react to Thompson having gotten a woman pregnant last year on recent episodes of The Kardashians.
So… is Khloe once again off the market?
Has she dipped her toe (or other body parts!) back into the dating pool that previously produced Thompson as a boyfriend and, previously, notorious quitter James Harden?
Not to mention ex-husband Lamar Odom
“Definitely NOT True !!!” Khloe wrote in response to speculation that she was once again dating a professional basketball player.
Added Khloe as a reply to the person who hoped she would find a caring and loving significant other:
“I love you! Thank you for the nice wishes but I am not seeing a soul.
“I am happy focusing on my daughter and myself for awhile.”
To her credit, despite ALL Tristan has done to her, Khloe has never really trashed the guy in public. She and her skeevy ex remain on amicable terms, often co-parenting four-year old daughter True.
Just a day before she shot down the dating rumor above, meanwhile, Khloe confessed to feeling betrayed after she learned that Thompson knocked up Maralee Nichols in March 2021.
“Life is full of lessons, teachable moments,” Khloe wrote via Twitter on June.
“We should handle them with grace/love. Even if we are hurt by them.
“Take [your] moment — cry/scream — but remain composed. [And] remember that love heals [and] teaches more than anger or hate ever will.
“We all deserve forgiveness and most of all … LOVE.”
Just about a year ago exactly, Nichols filed a paternity suit against Tristan… to which he (eventually) responded by acknowledging he had sex with her on his 30th birthday in March 2021.
That December, she gave birth to a baby boy named Theo.
The following month, the strong rebounder confirmed he was the father of the child via his Instagram Stories, while also apologizing to Kardashian in a separate post.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this,” Tristan wrote in early January.
“You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.
“My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the upmost [sic] respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think.
“Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
