Kanye West has said he ‘absolutely’ does not regret his anti-Semitic Twitter tirade but offered up a half-hearted apology.

The rapper sat down with Piers Morgan and addressed the Jewish community, before doubling down on some of his antics.

‘I will say I’m sorry for the people that I hurt with the ‘death con’ [comments],’ Ye said on the show with the British talk show host.

‘I feel like I caused hurt and confusion. And I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through, and that I used my platform where you say hurt people hurt people. I was hurt.’

The rapper and clothing designer said on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’ that he was only referencing certain Jewish people who he believes have screwed him over.

Less than two weeks ago, the rapper wrote in a tweet: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.

Deafcon – also known as defense readiness condition – is an alert used by the US Armed Forces to indicate how quickly the military can be deployed during deadly emergencies and attacks.

Ye was pressed by Morgan on whether his anti-Semitic remarks were racist, and he says they were, although at one point, the rapper says ‘it’s not racism’ when asked about his comments.

‘When you insult the Jewish people and say you’re going ‘death con 3′ on the Jewish people, that is as racist as anything you say you’ve been through,’ Morgan said.  ‘Racism is racism and you know that I think. Don’t you.’

At the time of his initial tweets, West claimed that he couldn’t be anti-Semitic because all Black people are also Jewish.

‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,’ Kanye wrote last week.

The rapper’s Twitter account was later suspended.

In a statement Twitter confirmed that West was locked out of his account.

In the interview, Ye clarified that he wanted to apologize to the Jews who did nothing wrong. West’s comments were specifically geared towards Jewish Hollywood executives for their treatment of Black entertainers.

Ye had also previously leaned in on stereotypes about Jewish people owning the banks, calling out JPMorgan leaders.

It had been less than three days since  he had returned to the social media app after being banned by previous ownership.

Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, had reviewed his initial suspension and then welcomed him back with open arms.

‘Welcome back to Twitter, my friend,’ Musk tweeted on October 8.

West’s current Twitter page shows a spot where a tweet used to be, stating that the message ‘violated the Twitter Rules.’

Before he was once again kicked off, he was able to tweet twice about cancel culture and the current protests underway in Iran.

He later tweeted he would be 'going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE' while bringing back his 'White Lives Matter' T-shirt

During his Wednesday interview with Morgan, the rapper accused the British television host of ‘being a Karen’ and not ‘holding accountability to his pain.’

The interviewer said that he did acknowledge Ye’s troubles, but that ‘I think you don’t understand the pain that you have been causing with some of these comments.’

Ye also says that Morgan is trying to ‘pull him’ back to the 1960s and ‘a week ago’ rather than living in the present and dealing with the now.

As Morgan attempts to give Ye advice on how he can grow and progress from this moment, the rapper abruptly changes the topic by asking ‘how much money are you worth?’

After the TV host responds, ‘not as much as you, sadly,’ Kanye says ‘why would I listen to you.’

In a Monday evening interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo, West launched into another anti-Semitic rant, saying that a ‘Jewish underground media mafia’ is ruining his career.

West complained a ‘mafia’ of Jewish media executives attacked his White Lives Matter stunt at the Paris Fashion Week and are always calling him a rapper instead of a billionaire.

‘When I wore that White Lives Matter t-shirt, the Jewish underground media mafia already started attacking me,’ Ye said from the back seat of a car.

‘They canceled my store, SoFi stadium shows,’ he claimed.

‘Right, they have the press saying on 78 outlets that when I was arguing with Pete Davidson and Trevor Noah, they called me an abuser for arguing with people about my ex-wife and my family and when I get to see my kids and when I don’t.

‘And they just immediately disrespect me, they keep this crazy narrative going.

‘They never call me a billionaire,’ he continued. ‘We never talk about even one right here, Hey, tycoon, billionaire, visionary, inventor. These are never used.’

In that interview, Ye claimed that the ‘Jewish people that I’m talking about’ have a certain ‘privilege’ and he is now ‘calling out the Jewish community as a whole.’

Cuomo tried to assure the rapper there is no secret group of wealthy Jews colluding to harm his career, saying it is ‘either a figment of your imagination or a projection of your prejudice.

‘You may have had bad business dealings with people, OK,’ the disgraced CNN anchor said. ‘It’s about those people, it’s not about religion or faith.

‘And I know that you are intelligent and understand that when you target people because of their faith, other people may do the same,’ Cuomo told the 45-year-old rapper, adding that people ‘may be abused or killed because of what they believe and who they are. ‘We won’t tolerate that,’ Cuomo declared.

‘And I won’t tolerate it as a black person,’ Kanye interjected as he doubled down on the idea of a Jewish cabal, noting the large number of Hollywood executives who are Jewish.

‘That’s different than saying there’s a mafia and they act as Jews in some was as opposed to just being businessmen,’ Cuomo responded.

‘One plays to a prejudice, the other one just plays to people in an ugly business. So you may have your feelings about it, just don’t ascribe it to their faith,’ the rapper said.

On Wednesday a source close to the situation told the New York Post that Cuomo, who just recently joined the television station, was furious over how the interview looked as the ‘No Church in the Wild’ rapper took the call from a dimly lit car.

‘Cuomo tried to get Ye to do the interview in the studio,’ the source said. ‘Chris was insulted that he sat down with Tucker Carlson and that all he got was a Zoom interview from his car.’

‘Chris thought it was at least going to be well-lit,’ the source said. ‘He wouldn’t have accepted that at CNN.’

Employees at NewsNation also expressed anger over the show and Cuomo’s decision to give a platform for the rapper, according to sources.

‘People didn’t want to appear on the [other two] shows following Chris Cuomo’s interview because they didn’t want to talk about anti-Semitism and to give Kanye more attention,’ a source told the New York Post.

That was just another interview in a long line of sit-downs that put the rapper in the spotlight.

In an interview with former rapper Noreaga aka N.O.R.E and DJ EFN on their Revolt TV’s Drinks Champs podcast that ‘the Jewish media blocked me out.

‘This s**t lit, right? I’m lit right? I’m lit,’ the rapper said in the podcast, released on Sunday, after JP Morgan Chase ended its relationship with West

‘JP Morgan, I put $140 million in JP Morgan, and they treated me like s**t. So if JP Morgan Chase is treating me like that, how are they treating the rest of y’all?’

In other parts of the interview, West said that ‘Jewish people control the black voice,’ and sarcastically stated that the ‘Jewish media’ would cancel one of the hosts for saying: ‘F**k Black Lives Matter.’

And later in his Drinks Champs interview, West claimed — contrary to the coroner’s report — that fentanyl caused George Floyd’s death in 2020.

West claimed that George Floyd was killed by a fentanyl overdose, instead of suffocation at the hands of police brutality

‘He said a prayer for eight minutes, they hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.’

Bizarrely, West goes on to say that Floyd’s death made him think of his ‘friend’ Virgil Abloh, the fashion designer who passed away in November 2021 following a short battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare, aggressive form of cancer.

He was 41 years old. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, it was announced that West’s interview on The Shop would not air.

The show’s co-host, Maverick Carter ,said in a statement that the it was pulled was because West ‘used to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.’ Carter’s usual co-host, LeBron James, was not present for the taping.

After the interview, Floyd’s family launched a $250million lawsuit against the star over the comments, calling them ‘repugnant’ and saying he used ‘false statements’ to ‘promote his brands’.

Drink Champs have been forced to delete the entire episode after a fierce backlash, with host N.O.R.E apologizing for his guest’s comments.

When asked about N.O.R.E’s apology, West said: ‘He’s under a lot of pressure, if you look at the first thing he says, N.O.R.E. does an interview with Rosenberg.

‘He is a good guy. Like he said, he called me this morning. He said, ‘Maybe politics is a little bit too much for me.’ Everybody back up off of N.O.R.E.

‘What’s the exact thing I was saying? I said the Jewish media controls so many things.

‘It’s not all the Jewish people, but there’s specifically Jewish people in media that are in power that try to, they bought the black voice, but they haven’t been able to buy my voice.

‘So instead they blackballed me. They threatened people to not interview me. They threatened people to get away from me.’

On Tuesday, Ye stepped out with his new girlfriend, Juliana Nalú. 24, and spoke about his decision to wear a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt during a recent fashion week appearance.

West said: ‘I feel like Black Lives Matter is a like warm water, it’s a hot shower, and White Lives Matter is a cold shower.

‘The funny thing about woke culture is like, woke culture is not really woke like that.’

In the same rant, he went on to say: ‘I love rappers. Rappers are artists.

‘But when media calls me a rapper specifically to not bring up the fact that I’m worth $11 billion, that I’m the richest black man of all time, that I’m a billionaire and I’m a tycoon, that I’m a visionary.

‘And if I say that, if I say those three things, then they’ll say I’m a narcissist, right? But they push you down so much that you got to fight just to say who you are.’

In response to Kanye’s antics, Jewish community members across the country and the world have pushed back on his words, calling them ‘dangerous.’

Earlier this week, the Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles invited the Chicago rapper to visit their exhibitions. The museum said in an Instagram post: ‘Words matter and words have consequences Ye.

‘We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides.

‘The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews.’

According to the American Jewish Council, Jewish people are the targets of 60 percent of religious hate crimes in America despite making up two percent of the population.
