We have an update on Josh Duggar’s life behind bars.

And it’s not a very positive one… unless you’re one of the millions of people who don’t want to see anything positive ever happen to Josh Duggar ever again.

As previously reported, the convicted sex offender was transported last week to the Federal Correctional Institution in Seagoville, Texas.

We’ve already detailed some of the rules and regulations by which Duggar must now abide — but scroll down for a closer look at what he day-to-day life is like as an inmate inside this facility:

Josh Duggar Looks Happy

According to TMZ, Duggar must have his bed made (perfectly, all corners tucked in, military-style) by 7:30 a.m. every weekday.

His daily chores include sweeping and mopping the floors, cleaning the walls and emptying the trash.

Yes, this is a low-security prison.

However, very strict conduct rules are in place to make sure the operation runs smoothly and to make sure the convicts are treated equally.

For example, all inmates must stop all loud talking, card, domino and game playing at 9:15 p.m.

Prisoners must return to their rooms by 11 p.m. and all noise, including television sets, must be off by midnight.

The facility issues each inmate a set of five shirts, five sets of underwear, one pair of shoes, five pairs of pants, one belt and five pairs of socks.

These items must remain clean and tagged with the inmate name and registrar number — or the inmate faces discipline of some kind.

Duggar, of course, was arrested in April 2021 for allegedly downloading sexually graphic material of children under the age of 12.

He was then convicted on two counts of child sex abuse in December.

In May, Duggar was sentenced to 151 months in federal prison.

Even with good behavior, he must serve a minimum of 10.5 years behind these bars, following the protocols laid out here.

Josh Duggar Close Up

Duggar is one of many inmates at this prison who have been ordered to serve time there due to some kind of sex crime.

He’s reportedly afraid of what may happen to him over the next decade or so, as an insider recently told Us Weekly:

“Even though Seagoville is low security and not known for violence against inmates, it does happen.

“And he’s going in for what fellow criminals and inmates despise: a child sex offender.”

Josh Duggar and a Child

Even after Josh eventually gets released, he’ll face 20 years of probation.

Included within this probation will be rules in place that states Duggar can never watch any sort of adult entertainment… must submit to random polygraph tests… and can’t use a cell phone outside of work.

He won’t be permitted around children without another adult around, either.

As far as we can tell, this will include his own kids, a couple of which will still be minors when their dad becomes a free man.

Indeed, the former reality star is barred from having unsupervised contact with minors, including his own seven kids:

Daughter Mackynzie, 12, son Michael, 11, son Marcus, 9, daughter Meredith, 6, son Mason, 4, daughter Maryella, 2, and daughter Madyson, 8 months.

He shares all these sons and daughters with wife Anna Duggar, who sources indicate has no plans to leave her marriage.

Simply put, “they don’t believe in divorce,” another insider told Us Weekly last month, adding of this — shall we say, unusual? — group of individuals:

“They look up to God and pray tirelessly for their family.”
