Joe Biden WAS aware of Hunter’s business dealings: Grassley says he has ‘voluminous evidence’

Senator Chuck Grassley claims FBI documents prove President Joe Biden was aware of his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings, despite repeatedly claiming to the contrary – and says there is evidence of ‘potential criminal conduct’.

Based on whistleblower disclosures, Grassley told Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss that he is in possession of ‘voluminous evidence’ of criminal conduct by Hunter, 52, and the president’s younger brother James Biden, 73.

The Senate’s president pro tempore emeritus told the trio that the FBI was in possession of documents related to Hunter’s business associations with the owner of Ukraine energy company Burisma Holdings LLC.

He is curious why no action has been taken considering the information in these documents.

Grassley is the GOP ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. 

‘These documents also indicate that Joe Biden was aware of Hunter Biden’s business arrangements and may have been involved in some of them,’ Grassley wrote in his Thursday letter, which was published on Monday.

The Iowa Republican questioned whether the information coming to light by whistleblowers has been investigated by Weiss, the Delaware judge running the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.

‘Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden,’ Grassley wrote in his letter. 

He added: ‘It is also unclear whether U.S. Attorney Weiss has performed his own due diligence on these and related allegations.’

Burisma reportedly paid Hunter $50,000 each month to serve on its board while Joe Biden was vice president to Barack Obama. Hunter’s role on that board and his qualification to serve on it are still unknown.

Grassley claims he has been provided with evidence of the potential criminal nature of Hunter’s work for Burisma and that whistleblowers have come forward to report a string of biases within the FBI and Justice Department in favor of the Bidens.

‘These new whistleblower disclosures beg the question: in light of the allegations that I have brought to your attention, what have the FBI and Justice Department, to include U.S. Attorney Weiss, done to investigate?’ Grassley questioned.

Biden and his communications office have repeatedly denied that he knew about any business dealings involving his son when he was vice president. They also say that Biden does not speak to his son about his business in foreign countries.

Grassley says that the FBI has evidence that Hunter and James Biden had arrangements with foreign nationals linked to the communist Chinese government, ‘included assisting them with potential business deals and investments while Joe Biden was Vice President.’

He claims that the duo remained ‘intentionally uncompensated’ while Biden was in office.

‘After Joe Biden left the Vice Presidency, the summary makes clear that Hunter Biden and James Biden worked with CEFC and affiliated individuals to compensate them for that past work and the benefits they procured for CEFC,’ he wrote.
