Janelle Brown says she’s feeling very good about herself at the moment.

But many critics of Janelle Brown are feeling quite the opposite about the Sister Wives star after a recent Instagram upload.

A few days after celebrating America’s birthday this month, Brown wrote the following:

“Everyone’s weight loss journey looks different.”

Then mother of six wrote these words as a caption to side-by-side photos of herself in the same outfit, from last Fourth of July and this Fourth of July.

“I am always hesitant to share publicly any progress I make because, let’s be real, anything I share there are always 10,000 people who want to judge me,” continued Brown at the time…

“But in the past year, not only have I increased my strength (almost have a 200 lb barbell squat accomplished you guys!) but in my own unique way I have lost pounds and inches.”

These are the photos Janelle included in her post:

She concluded:

“I never thought I could feel as good as I did at 18 and finally feel like I’m on my way to my ultimate health goals. This is not an overnight fix.

“Nothing truly worth it is.

“These shorts I have worn for 2 years are almost too big to even keep on! I couldn’t be more excited about my progress.”

Janelle went on to tag this seemingly shady company in the process, prompting many to think she just lied about the photos and weight loss (were the July 4 pics even from two different years?) in order to push an unhealthy and unproven product.

One observer responded as follows, for example:

Her whole caption about how she’s feeling 18 again because of Plexus. UGH.

It makes me so mad that someone with a platform like theirs can use it to take advantage of people by shilling their pyramid scheme products and ‘opportunity

Another jumped in with similar thoughts:

There’s absolutely no point in her showing any sort of comparison photo if all she’s going to do is poorly crop one version, use creative posing, and/or change her makeup to create a difference that isn’t there.

And a third agreed:

God, love her but what is up with those ‘before and after’ pics from Janelle? It’s literally the same day. One has a filter and one doesn’t

Janelle Brown in Thought

Brown has not yet responded to any of this criticism.

But Sister Wife Meri Brown has been accused of playing a major part in a pyramid scheme.

It’s hard not to wonder of Janelle isn’t getting herself caught up in something similar as well.

It’s sad.
