Joanna Shum, founder of Love Brownies Richmond told Business Matters, “As immigrants from Hong Kong, my husband and I have been absolutely fascinated by UK culture and the diversity of the country’s hospitality industry. After a lengthy search we fell in love with the Love Brownies brand and felt it was a fantastic opportunity share our passion for food with the local community.

We want this business to be much more than a café, it will serve as a community hub for friends, families to meet, make friends and enjoy a freshly made food,” she added.

The café will use 100 per cent sustainable packaging, including biodegradable cups and paper straws. Its coffee selection includes beans sourced from Columbia, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
