With the NFL season getting close to its halfway point, teams are figuring out if they’re Super Bowl contenders or pretenders.

The Nov. 1 NFL trade deadline is coming up Tuesday, and there are title contenders who could make trades that could help them even stronger possibilities to hoist the Lombardi this winter.

What could those trades be? Let’s look below.

The Buffalo Bills trade RB Zack Moss, a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick to Denver for WR Jerry Jeudy, RB Melvin Gordon III

The Bills could add Jeudy through 2025 potentially to give Josh Allen a three-headed monster at receiver, and Gordon could be an upgrade rental over Moss and factor in especially during the playoffs. Denver gets plenty of ammo here for the future and a young rusher in Moss to develop.

The Kansas City Chiefs trade a 2023 first-round pick to Carolina for WR D.J. Moore

The Chiefs have the league’s best quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, but Moore could instantly become the best receiver on the Chiefs roster and help Kansas City keep pace with Buffalo in the AFC playoffs. It’d be fun to watch Moore and Mahomes play together in January.

The Cincinnati Bengals trade 2023 second-round and third-round picks to Denver for OLB Bradley Chubb

The Bengals have one of the league’s best offenses, but it’s often a pass rush that helps make the difference in the playoffs. If the Bengals are willing to go all-out to make it back to the Super Bowl, they could toss two picks Denver’s way to get Chubb to add to their pass rush. The team could try to work out a long-term deal before QB Joe Burrow’s contract comes calling, too.

The Philadelphia Eagles trade a 2023 sixth-round pick for Texans DE Jerry Hughes

The Eagles could use a veteran edge rusher to help salt down teams come January, and Hughes is still one of the more consistent rushers in the NFL. For a very low price, the Eagles could add a big piece to its front seven as the clear NFC favorites.

The Minnesota Vikings trade a 2023 third-round pick to Miami for TE Mike Gesicki

While the Vikings have surpassed expectations, they could still use one more piece of firepower for the offense. Irv Smith Jr. is a fine tight end in his own right, but adding Dolphins tight end/occasional wide receiver Gesicki would give Minnesota a scary passing attack for the playoffs.
