Even though he’s been talking about it for several months now, Elon Musk still hasn’t bought Twitter.
But to be fair, the Tesla founder has an awful lot on his plate these days.
In addition to the several companies he already owns, Musk has apparently fathered way more kids than anyone realized.
And he thinks every American should follow in his footsteps and raise a small army of their own!
It was revealed this week that Musk secretly welcomed twins last year with an exec at Neuralink, the neurotechnology company that Musk co-founded in 2017.
Business Insider has obtained court documents filed by Musk and the twins’ mother, Shivon Zillis, 36.
The parents petitioned the court to “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”
The order was approved by a judge in Austin in May, but the kids’ names remain unknown.
The twins were born shortly after singer Grimes gave birth to her second child with Musk.
In an apparent effort to give Jim Bob Duggar a run for his money, Musk now has children numbering in the double digits.
Before he impregnated his employee and a pop star young enough to be his daughter, Musk fathered six children with with ex-wife Justine Wilson.
Griffin, Vivian Jenna, Kai, Saxon and Damian are still living, while son Nevada Alexander tragically passed away from SIDS in 2002.
There have been rumors that Musk is the father of Amber Heard’s 1-year-old daughter, but neither party has confirmed or denied those reports.
Last month, Vivian came out as trans and very publicly cut ties with her father.
If you’re keeping score at home, the number of children fathered by Musk is roughly the same as the population of Des Moines, Iowa.
We kid, of course, but this guy seriously has a ton of children and shows no signs of slowing down.
Musk has not directly responded to the news of his secret twins, but he did tweet that he has a very good reason for impregnating so many different women — apparently, it’s all part of his multi-faceted plan to save the world.
“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” the 51-year-old tweeted today.
“Mark my words, they are sadly true,” Musk continued.
In case Musk’s stance on having a ton of kids wasn’t already abundantly clear, he continued:
“I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”
Bringing the conversation back around to his favorite subject, Musk noted that the Red Planet is still 100 percent unpeopled.
“Population of Mars is still zero people!”
Needless to say, there’s a lot going on here.
Obviously Musk can easily afford to take care of so many kids, but can anyone responsibly parent double-digit kids with numerous partners, some of whom live in different countries?
Along with her twin brother Griffin, Vivian is the first of Musk’s kids to reach legal adulthood.
And based on her petition to change her last name so as to completely sever ties with her dad, we’re guessing Vivian’s performance review of Elon’s parenting skills would be less than glowing!
