  • It was only revealed when the five-year-old pony rubbed her hair on fences 

A horse breeder was left all shook up – when he spotted Elvis Presley’s face on his pony’s neck.   

Alan O’Reilly, 36, says the ‘miracle’ was revealed when his five-year-old Piebald Cob Dolly started rubbing her long hair off on fences – showing the image of the King.

He only spotted it a few weeks ago while he was scrolling through his phone over breakfast in his home in Dublin. 

Thinking he was losing the plot, he took to social media to ask others if they also saw Elvis visage on the pony’s neck which family, friends and strangers who confirmed his revelation. 

By looking at Dolly’s black and white neck there appears to be the outline of the King of Rock and Roll’s ‘face’ complete with an eye and trademark Elvis Presley-style hair.

Alan said: ‘I’m a bit spiritual and I just think it’s a miracle. He’s one of the greats, and his face has appeared on a horse. I think that says it all.

‘I’m certain he had a hand in that. Once you’ve seen it it’s so obvious – it’s so weird. It just looks so like him.’

Elvis, who died in 1977, was known to love horses, keeping many on his Graceland ranch in Memphis, Tennessee.

His wife Priscilla Presley describes how he would dress up and put on a show on with his horses. 

She said. ‘When he got on Bear, he would dress up in a suit and a hat and actually put on a show and gait the horse in front of the fans so he could show off his horsemanship. 

‘Fans would go nuts. When he rode the palomino, he would change into western clothes and have races up and down the front lawn of Graceland.’

Father-of-one Alan, who keeps more than 40 horses near his home in Ireland, said he’s from a family of Elvis fans – and that Dolly has now been renamed Mrs Presley.

He said he would ideally like Elvis’ family to buy the horse – but he would sell to the right fan.

Alan added: ‘I think Elvis Presley wants us to make money selling her and he wants her to be the most famous horse in the world.’
