Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander tried to crash her wedding last week.

Fortunately, he failed. He was arrested. The judge granted an emergency protective order.

Police indicated that this was not the first time that he had trespassed onto her property.

This week, the court took further action to keep Britney and Sam safe.

Jason Alexander has been arrested for stalking. The ex-husband of Britney Spears is currently being held without bail.

On Monday, June 13, a judge ruled that Jason Alexander cannot try to contact Britney in any way for the next three years.

During his arraignment, Jason pleaded not guilty. His bail was set at $100,000.

In addition to granting Britney and Sam’s request for a protective order, the judge added a felony stalking charge.

Jason was apprehended after trespassing at Britney’s Los Angeles home on Thursday, June 9.

Just hours before the wedding, he intruded on her property, where he was followed by security staff who asked him to leave.

The obviously troubled man had been casing out the property for weeks, by his own account.

We know all of this because Jason told the world.

He livestreamed his intrusion onto the property, including his boast about stalking and trespassing.

Jason declared his intent to crash what he called a “bulls–t wedding.” Fortunately, he failed.

“Britney Spears invited me here,” Jason insisted while livestreaming his criminal trespass.

“She’s my first wife,” he ranted and raved. “My only wife.”

Jason proclaimed: “I’m her first husband.”

As fans recall, Jason was briefly married to Britney for 55 hours … in 2004.

“I’m here to crash the wedding ’cause nobody [is] here but Sam,” he said during the video.

Jason then demanded to know: “So where the f–k’s the family?”

This uninvited intrusion took place before the guests or the wedding party arrived.

Judging from the livestream and from reports, it sounds like only staff was present.

Additionally, while there were about 100 guests, only Britney’s brother (Bryan Spears) attended.

Jason was actually booked on an outstanding warrant from another county.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, saw to it that an emergency protective order was put into place over the weekend.

And on Monday, the judge added the felony stalking charge.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Engaged
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have agreed to marry. Oh, yes, these two are engaged!

It is such a shame that Jason’s unhinged behavior threatened to spoil such a wonderful day.

Britney and Sam have waited for years to get married.

Together since 2016, they were only able to marry after the conservatorship ended.

Some of Britney’s fans expressed “concerns” about the marriage.

Britney is well-known and widely beloved. Sam is, let’s face it, less famous.

There were those who wondered about his intentions towards this living legend.

Despite those paternalistic worries about Britney’s judgment, Britney and Sam signed an ironclad prenup.

Admittedly, these “concerns” remind us so much of the justifications used for Britney’s erstwhile conservatorship.

Britney is free to make her own choices, no matter how hunky. Let’s hope that this restraining order keeps her safe.
